Property Description

This cosy little cottage is tucked away off the beaten track in the old village of Robin Hood’s Bay and is a perfect getaway for 2 people. Approached via a flight of stone steps, the cottage offers beautifully decorated, furnished and maintained accommodation in a secluded setting yet is less than 100 metres from the beach. The cottage is centrally-heated throughout and the kitchen benefits from a stove-effect gas fire. It has been fully refurbished combining original features with modern facilities. The upper storey is built in to the eaves which adds to its quaintness. The private sun patio is perfect for morning coffee, al fresco dining or simply whiling away the evenings away from the hustle & bustle of the village. The cottage is ideally located to explore the area on foot. The Cleveland Way footpath runs just 20 metres from the cottage and joins to a network of local and regional footpaths in the North York Moors National Park.

The accommodation comprises:

  • Small entrance hall.
  • Well-equipped kitchen/diner with granite worktop, downlighting, fridge, microwave/grill, 4-ring electric hob, electric fan oven and grill.
  • Oak dining table and high-back upholstered chairs. 
  • Cosy lounge with original fireplace (non-functional), colour TV and music system. (Please note, there is currently no DVD) 
  • Double bedroom open to landing, with wardrobe and chest of drawers. 
  • Beautiful refurbished bathroom with bath, shower over, wash basin and WC. 
  • Full gas-fired central heating. 
  • Private patio with terraced garden provides a sheltered sun trap with table & chairs and chiminiere offering a peaceful escape from the busy village.
  • Private and secure storage for up to 2 bikes.
  • Please note that there is limited head-height in parts of the bathroom and bedroom. 
  • Bed linen is provided but you are requested to bring your own towels and t-towels.
