York and Market Towns

York

York is a city renowned for it's architecture, quaint cobbled streets, iconc buildings and many attractions. Situated 50 miles from Robin Hood's Bay, York is a fantastic place to spend a day out. Explore the historic buildings and museums, walk the full loop along the city walls, shop till you drop in the many high street shops and quaint shops hidden down the cobbled streets and relax by the river in one of the many cafe's, bar's and restaurants that York has to offer. Whatever takes your fancy, York has something for everyone.

Helmsley

Helmsley is full of history and character and is the only market town on the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Siuated 40 miles from Robin Hood's Bay, Helmsley has a bustling market square that is full of specialist and quaint shops and lots of lovely cafe's and restaurants.

Malton

Nicknamed Yorkshire's 'Food capital', Malton is one of Yorkshire's most popular destinations for food lovers. Packed full of traditional food shops, cafe's, restaurants and there is even a cookery school. 

Malton hosts an annual food festival which is not to be missed as well as monthly food markets. Siuated just over 30 miles from Robin Hood's Bay, Malton is the perfect place to spend your day.
