Eastwood Cottage is located on the ever-popular Chapel Street in the very heart of the lower village and just a 2-minute stroll to the beach. It has 2 bedrooms, a spacious lounge with log-burner and a very well-equipped first-floor kitchen. Just across the path is a private gated patio with garden furniture and mature shrubs.
Whole-week bookings are Saturday - Saturday during peak times.

EntranceEastwood Cottage is located on Chapel Street, just a few doors past Bertie's of Bay (formerly The Old Bakery Tea Rooms). The front door is accessed directly from the street and opens immediately into the ground-floor lounge.....
Ground FloorUnusually for cottages in the lower village, Eastwood Cottage's ground floor comprises just the lounge (rather than lounge/kitchen/diner) allowing for a spacious sitting room and a more comfortable place to spread out. There are 2 sofas and an upholstered fireside chair, a recessed book case, coffee table and a 32" LED TV with full HD Freeview and HDMI DVD. WiFi is also provided. The central focus of this room is the beautiful sandstone fireplace and old timber lintel which houses a large, cosy log-burning stove. At the back of the lounge is a large cupboard for coats and boots. The two windows to the front aspect look out over Chapel Street, making the room bright and airy.A door leads to the carpeted staircase which takes you up to the first floor......
First FloorThe kitchen is situated at the front of the cottage and also benefits from two windows affording views over the beck and up to Fisherhead.The bespoke kitchen is extremely well-equipped with every utensil and gadget you could possibly need in addition to an integrated fridge and dishwasher, a gas oven, 4-ring gas hob, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. The old floorboards, which have been stained and polished, provide a warmth to this room and a pine table and chairs completes the picture.The bathroom is also on this floor. It is fully tiled and comprises a bath with shower over, a washbasin and WC.On the landing is a recess which houses a small free-standing wardrobe with additional space for coats and shoes.A further carpeted staircase leads from the landing up to the attic bedroom.....
Second FloorThe master bedroom is also spacious and comprises a metal-frame double bed with feather pillows and duvet. There are two bedside tables with lamps, a mirrored chest of drawers and a large hanging rail. Two small windows provide more elevated views over the village to Fisherhead.The second bedroom is compact and houses 2 single beds with feather pillows and duvets, a long shelf at the bed heads, a small free-standing wardrobe cupboard and a velux window to the rear elevation of the cottage.
OutsideAcross the path is a gated private patio with mature shrubs and a small bistro table and chairs. It captures the afternoon and evening sun and is perfect for alfresco suppers and a glass of wine as the sun sets.
