The front door leads into a short hallway with hanging space for coats. A further door leads into the cosy sitting room and dining area with a comfortable 2-seater sofa and 2 upholstered fireside chairs. Unusually, this room has two large windows which overlook a pretty open courtyard and which flood the room with morning light, making for a bright and airy feel. The open fire is the focal point of the room and as well as a Smart TV, DVD player, music system and WiFi, there is also an extensive selection of books, local guides, jigsaws and board games to help you while away a cosy evening or plan tomorrow's itinerary. To the rear of the sitting room is an oak sideboard and a drop-leaf dining table and here you will find a thoughtfully-chosen basket of welcome provisions including. evening treats and breakfast items for your first morning in the cottage. Just off the lounge is a tiny but brilliantly-planned kitchen. Making excellent use of space, it has all that you could need for informal meals including an integrated electric oven, 2-ring induction hob, a half-size dishwasher, 800w microwave, under-counter fridge, stainless steel sink with drainer, a kettle, 2-slice toaster and a cafetière. The kitchen comes fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cookware. In addition, there is a storage pantry cupboard just off the lounge with plenty of space for your own provisions and a further cupboard containing a small freezer, iron, ironing board and beach items. It's safe to say that the owners have thought of everything! Theres even a handy washer/dryer in the outhouse along with coal and logs for the fire.First Floor
A door from the lounge leads to a typically narrow and winding staircase which takes you up to the first floor landing. From here, you can access the master bedroom which is spacious and airy and which, like the lounge, has dual sash windows overlooking the courtyard and the pantiled rooftops beyond. Facing the windows is a king size metal-frame bed with an oak chest of drawers to one side and a bedside table to the other. The ornamental fireplace and original built-in cupboards all add up to give this room a very cosy and welcoming feel. Also on the first floor is the main bathroom decorated with brick tiles in shades of blue and including a bath with a shower over, washbasin and mirror, shaver point, WC, and radiator.Second Floor
A door from the first-floor landing takes you up to a further winding staircase to the second bedroom. Towards the top, the little window there provides a different view of the village below. This bedroom features a lovely white wood double bed with bedside tables sand a chest of drawers. Being set in the attic eaves, this room is characterful but has low beams and limited headroom in parts of the room. The small window to the rear boasts lovely views out over the rooftops to the beach, village and the moors. The finishing touch to this charming room is the half - en suite comprising a washbasin, shaver point and WC for those all-important night visits!Outside
