This cosy cottage for two is situated close to the dock on King Street in the old village of Robin Hood’s Bay. It offers comfortable accommodation in a prime location, being just 60 metres from the beach.

The accommodation comprises:

Ground Floor

The entrance to Bank House Cottage is from King Street, close to The Men's Institute.  A door from the passageway opens into the ground floor kitchen and dining area. There is a light and spacious modern kitchen area with an electric hob & oven, washing machine, fridge, microwave, small freezer and a small flat-screen TV so you won't have to miss anything while preparing dinner. The original polished floorboards are warm yet very practical when arriving home after a long walk on the beach.

First Floor

The stairs lead from the dining area up to a comfortable and cosy carpeted lounge with a fully upholstered sofa, a flat-screen TV with integral DVD/CD player and a feature fireplace (non-working). The window to the front aspect, being on the first floor looks out over King Street and the hustle and bustle of the dock area yet affords privacy because of its elevation above the street. Also on the first floor is a lovely bathroom comprising a roll-top bath with shower over, a large wash basin & mirror and a WC.

Second Floor

A further staircase (with limited headroom) leads up to the attic bedroom with a double bed, a pine chest of drawers and hanging space for formal clothes. The bedroom is fully carpeted and has a velux window which affords a lovely view down to the sea. Please note that both the staircase and the sloping ceiling in this room make it unsuitable for us to accept an infant.

We believe that this experience sets us apart from the rest.
