Roseworth is a truly delightful 4-storey stone cottage that is now available as a lovely and well-laid out holiday home with open village views. Roseworth is light and spacious and offers very comfortable and cosy accommodation for up to 6 people.

Whole week bookings for this property are Friday - Friday.


The accommodation comprises......

Ground Floor

The front door from The Square leads into a lovely welcoming entrance hall with a console table and lamp. A door from the hallway leads into a cosy lounge with rich polished floorboards, a log burning stove and open views across the village and up towards Fisherhead. There is a large-screen TV and you can either lose yourself in the deep leather sofa or go solo on one of the two upholstered fireside chairs.

Lower Ground Floor

A staircase leads from the entrance hall down to a spacious kitchen and dining room with a range of modern base and wall units with a rich pine work surface.There is an integrated dishwasher, fridge and electric oven, 4-ring ceramic hob and extractor hood above, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a separate freezer located under the stairs. Indeed, this user-friendly and well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need for a light lunch or a full family meal.
An unexpected and welcome addition to this room is the two armchairs and tea table nestled in front of a charming log burning stove. Outside the kitchen door is a small open area with 2 bistro chairs and planters; equally perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

First Floor

Another staircase leads from the entrance hallway to the first floor which comprises a twin bedroom and a new family bathroom fitted in May 2024 along with under-floor heating. The bedroom is spacious and fully-carpeted and has 2 full-width single beds which can be joined together to make a double, a shelved cupboard, full-length mirror and a feature fireplace (non-working).
The bathroom comprises a full-size bath with shower over, WC and large wash basin.

Top Floor

A further staircase leads to the top floor and the spacious master bedroom, fully-carpeted and with a King-size bed, shelved alcove, chest of drawers, built-in cupboard and feature fireplace (non-working). You will wake up to delightful views over Fisherhead without even having to get out of bed.
The Crow's Nest is the bunk bedroom and the smallest room in the house, perfect for imaginative youngsters. As the name suggests, it comprises a pair of bunk beds and a chest of drawers. Please note that the bunk beds are only suitable for small children, 10 years or under.
