We are delighted to offer York House, a well-known and much-loved 6-berth property with spectacular sea views and a patio overlooking the entire bay from Ravenscar to Ness Point. Having been upgraded and re-furbished last year, it now boasts 3 bedrooms, all of which are en suite, and there are panoramic sea views from the lounge, the kitchen and from the top-floor bedroom. This dog-friendly house also enjoys easy unloading and has a parking permit for the top car parks. We have no doubt that York House will be a popular choice for a relaxing get-together with friends or for a family seaside holiday.

During peak times, whole week bookings for this property are Friday - Friday.


Entrance

York House is located towards the top of King Street, on the seaward side. The front door is accessed via a couple of stone steps up.

Ground Floor

 
The front door opens into a short hallway with a door to a double bedroom with a beamed ceiling and window to the front aspect, overlooking King Street. The bedroom itself comprises a pine double bed with a built-in wardrobe cupboard and vanity mirror. This bedroom has a 'Jack-and-Jill' shower room which is accessible from the bedroom (as an en suite) but is also accessible from the hallway.
At the end of the hallway is the kitchen and dining area. The stylish kitchen comprises a range of base and wall units and drawers. There is a 4-ring ceramic hob and electric fan oven, a washing machine, an under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave, kettle and toaster. The solid wood dining table comfortably seats 6 people on 2 wooden benches and 2 upholstered dining chairs. The kitchen leads out onto the patio where there is an outdoor table and chairs. First Floor

The cosy lounge is located on the first floor and on the seaward side of the house and enjoys uninterrupted sea views. There is large settee, central coffee table and chest of drawers with a good selection of books. The flat screen smart TV has BT sport and Sky Sports main events. A window to the side elevation looks out over the sea wall and across the water to the Ravenscar headland. A door from the lounge leads directly into the second of the double bedrooms. This also has a window to the front elevation overlooking King Street. There is a beamed ceiling, a double wardrobe with drawers and matching bedside tables. Second Floor

The second floor comprises a spacious twin bedroom in the eaves of the house with a window on the seaward side which affords spectacular and lofty views across the sea. There is a large chest of drawers and space to hang up clothes. Directly off this bedroom is a further en suite comprising a shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
